Hi, I’m Liza.

I believe that every life has a story worth telling, and that every significant moment deserves to be marked with care, compassion, and authenticity.

My journey to becoming a celebrant began through my own experience of loss. When my husband, Kevin, died, I made the decision to create and lead his funeral ceremony myself. In the midst of grief, I discovered how important it is to have the time and space to honour a life in a way that truly reflects the person at its heart. That experience changed the course of my life and led me to a vocation I hadn't known I was searching for.

Since qualifying as an accredited celebrant with the Irish Institute of Celebrants in 2021, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across Ireland, creating ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and unique to the people they celebrate. Although I'm based in Drogheda, I regularly work throughout Louth, Meath, Dublin, and beyond.

My work has naturally grown to include End-of-Life Doula support, inspired by my own experience of caring for Kevin during the final chapter of his life. Walking that path gave me a deep appreciation of the emotional, practical, and deeply personal challenges that individuals and families can face. It also reinforced my belief that no one should have to navigate the end of life alone.

Whether I'm creating a funeral or memorial ceremony, celebrating a wedding, welcoming a new child, renewing vows, or supporting someone at the end of life, my approach is always the same. I take the time to listen, understand what matters most to you, and work alongside you to create something that feels authentic, meaningful, and true to your story.

I know that inviting someone to lead a ceremony or support your family is a deeply personal decision. My aim is always to make the process feel as comfortable and reassuring as possible, giving you the time and space to make choices that feel right for you. Every ceremony I write is bespoke, every family I work with is different, and every story deserves to be told with warmth, dignity, and care.

It is a privilege to be entrusted with life's most significant moments, and I never lose sight of the trust that people place in me. Whether you're celebrating a new beginning, preparing for the future, or saying goodbye to someone you love, I would be honoured to walk alongside you and help create a ceremony that reflects your story with compassion, authenticity, and care.
